How your information is handled
What is collected. Only what is needed to reply to you and to deliver coaching: your name, contact details, and what you choose to share about your health and your grief. There are no advertising trackers, no analytics cookies and no third-party scripts on this site.
The contact form. Messages are delivered to Vera's inbox by Resend, an email service whose servers are in the United States; the message and your email address pass through it in transit and are kept there as delivery logs for a short period. If you would rather not use it, write directly to vera@colourfullnutrition.com.
Coaching notes. Session notes and your First Score profile are stored in password-protected files and are never sold or shared without your consent, except where the law requires it or there is an immediate risk to someone's safety. They are kept for two years after our last session, then deleted, unless you ask for them to be deleted sooner.
The kitchen. The cook planner keeps your draft plans and checklists in your own browser's storage; nothing leaves your device unless you choose to share a plan, in which case the plan (recipes, scaling, settings — no personal details) is stored so the link works.
The story. The note you write on the door at the end of The Grieving Body stays on your device only. Sound and caption settings are remembered the same way.
Scope of practice. Coaching is not medical or mental-health treatment. Vera will tell you, early and clearly, when something needs a physician, a registered dietitian or a counsellor, and will help you find one. If you are in crisis, call or text 9-8-8 in Canada.
Your rights. Under British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act you can ask what personal information is held about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Questions, corrections or deletion requests: vera@colourfullnutrition.com. Last reviewed October 2026.
